Helping Hands

Thank you for helping me have the courage to date again.  I learned so much.

Your profile was spot on.  I more than doubled the women that connect with me.

Your break up plan really helped.  It was still difficult but it went so much better than I expected it to.

The why I am here.

My story is a mix of sad and happy.  I was new to dating after a 20-year marriage ended. After dealing with my grief, I knew I wanted companionship.  Dating sounded fun.  Meeting people and going places was intriguing.  But candidly, I had little idea what I was doing.

I struggled with-

*Meeting people and getting a date

*ghosting, ghosting, and more ghosting

*breadcrumbing and scammers

*Fledgling relationships ending abruptly

*Feeling like an authentic connection was a myth

*Knowing how and when to say goodbye

*Believing that quality dates were myth

*Too many sexual propositions (someone actually wanted to buy me)

*Messaging but not meeting real people

*Feeling secure with my next steps

After years of experiencing dating pain, watching my single friends go through the same; It felt like this was how it was and would always be.

In May 2019, I was in a serious head on car accident.  I had plenty of time on my hands.  I contemplated my near death and what I wanted for the rest of my life.   And it was clear, I wanted one person to love and share my life with.  I knew I needed to be different in my approach and I set out to learn what seemed to come naturally to others.

And I did.

I took classes and listened to others.  I made small changes at first and then more changes came from those.

I applied what I knew about from my life experiences, from my HR career and negotiations work.

I learned how to date better and have meaningful and authentic relationships. This was a learning experience. It was trial and error (and more error).

I bought the magic gimmicks. Sometimes I bought them just for something to do cause I was curious sometimes because I was hopeful that it would make a difference. Ultimately I learned there are no magic texts,  words, methods or actions.  The magic is in your mindset and the connection and chemistry with another. No special text required. was born on the mission to create a better date. I share the lessons I wish I knew when I was starting over, again. I want to save others the pain and disillusionment.

Now, please let me share a little happy.  It absolutely can be better.  You need to be willing.  I was willing to make the mindset changes and found an authentic relationship that I never expected.  (Wedding planning commencing:-)

I have been there! So, no judgment here. Are you ready to meet your life partner?

Q. What is the difference between this and therapy?

A. Specifically, I do not deal with mental health issues like depression or trauma. Therapists are needed for bigger issues. I give tactical and strategic dating advice. I will also give you some techniques to improve your relationships.  Fundamentally, a therapist is not going to tell you what to message the cutie on Bumble; they are going to ask you why you are questioning it.

Q. Do you talk about sex with clients?

A. Sometimes

Q. Is this confidential?

A. From my side, it absolutely is! I will not say who I am working with but I hope my clients will.

Q. What is the worst dating advice out there?

A. Just be your self. (Because you can't JUST be your self when you are anxious or excited about someone you like.)

Q. What do you say to people who say there are no good guys/gals left our there to find?

A. Yes, there are. You are blocked. Get a dating coach.

Q. In your experience what happens to dissolve relationships?

A. Negativity, trust issues, and power struggles.

Q. Who are the best clients?

A. clients who want to date better and are willing to give up their superstitions.
